Got a question for you all... I have all stainless steel appliances and my stove has a black top. (gas range)
I can never seem to get it clean enough, I always see streaks. I use vinegar, degreaser, etc., and never can seem to get it streak free. Any tips?

Windex seems to do a good job.

Do they sell Sprayway glass cleaner by you. By far the best I have ever used. Most places that do car detailing in this area use it and when I was in printing it was the only one we were allowed to use.

Rj, I've done Windex- still get streaks. Then tried rubbing alcohol, magic eraser... Still wasn't the streak free result I wanted.

Bob, I do believe Walmart sells Sprayway. I remember when I got my car windows tinted, that is what they recommended to safely clean my windows. It's worth a shot. Thank you.

Debbie, CLR Bath and Kitchen cleaner works well on my black cook top....really cuts the grease splatters. If you try it, make sure the entire surface is wet with the cleaner and then dry well. I find it at grocery and home improvement stores.....bright yellow spray bottle $4-5

Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish or a professional Stainless Steel cleaner. Clean the appliance as best you can. Spray and use according to directions making sure to go with grain of stainless steel. Afterwards it also allows for using a damp cloth to clean up for a awhile without streaking. Once streaking starts again use the Stainless Steel cleaner. Most commercial kitchens are 99 % stainless steel and that is what they periodically use.

May you have a wonderful day!

My BIL sent me these. Sort of puts things in perspective 😊

I love Sprayaway ..great on glass. I will try it on the SS.
Lint free cloths help too

This may seem counter intuitive ...but a take a TINY bit of olive oil on a soft cloth after I clean my appliances and they remain streak free for a long time ..no greasy feel (my first concern) just a TINY BIT and then buff. And no bother or streaks for a month or more. That being said, have never done the stove top which is SS also because it gets soap and water almost every day after use..I don't think the OO treatment would survive that.
