I have had Buddy Hudson for three or four years and absolutely love it. Although it has not increased as much as I would like, I attribute that to its location in a bed with s large crape myrtle and to the fact that I have never fertilized it. The foliage is always pretty, and it has never shown any signs of rust.
I originally bought Buddy Hudson because of its name. We have a grandson named Hudson whom we frequently call "Huddy Buddy."

Buddy Hudson has been here for several years. Slow increaser in my south garden. Blooms reliably every year. Form and color varies. First picture above shows a much lighter bloom to the right. Another beauty from this hybridizer. Buntyn.
