Zach, Don't seem very fragrant but being outside its had to tell.
Tiffany, I was looking forward to seeing more open but was a away for a few days so by the time I got back the show was over Grumbling

Nice! It's good to see cacti enjoyed in NJ! Those may be able to make it outside all year. Have you tried that? Put a pad or two in the ground if you have a good place. They will quickly make a mass and you'll have lots of blooms at the same time.

Karen these have been outside for a few years and do winter well. I do have some in the ground also but no flowers on them this year. What I like about these is I just twist off a ear stick it in the ground or a pot and it grows a new plant.

Yes, they are great that way. When we first had them, we trimmed some off and left the pile for about a week. When we went to remove the pile, the bottom ones were all rooted. They grow so quickly too. I always laugh when I see people selling single pads for big bucks on Ebay.
I hope they will bloom soon. In AZ they just finished blooming, but I'd expect yours to be later.
