I am finally in my new space and now have room for even more semps!! But I am going to hold off for now. Many of my plants are blooming but most have offsets or other non blooming plants so hope I'm not losing too many.
Here are a few photos :)
First pic is finished product today.

That looks great Greg. Love the other gardens also. Just look at all those veggies. Think you might be trading semps for veggies? Hurray!

I know everything there looks amazing right now! These women (think I'm the only man gardening) are growing for their food. They are all super low income so they make this work for them. They do share amongst themselves for different food. It is kind of sad but also the gardens are very beautiful so it is ok.
So far no one wants something that they can't eat!
But as things grow in I'll spread some around, there are a few empty pots nodding
I tip my hat to you.

Is that a rental plot, or a loaner? Are the gardeners there living in that building? Or is it a public facility?
In any case, that looks much better than grass. Hopefully nobody reaches thru those bars to help themselves.

Congrats on the new space! I always find that when semps move to ground that hasn't grown semps before, they really take off. Give them a little fertilizer as you get them going as they'll need to make new roots.

I love what you're doing, Greg. You will have them growing semps too, pretty soon. Food is always good, but they need some fun stuff too.

Haha Paul yes I am concerned about that potential, I had all the window boxes in the middle of the plot but moved them to weed and realized some of the "weeds" are daicon radishes which I decided to let them grow
I will move the boxes back to middle after harvesting, hope others don't decide to harvest some of my semps!
I tip my hat to you.

Greg,

Let's hope they don't think they're artichokes! They'll get a NASTY surprise!

That's true! Walking by slowly to admire or photograph them is one thing, but I hope no one would think to swipe any of your little guys. Thumbs down you could always go buy a few little cacti and tuck them in between your semps here and there, that way anyone who thinks to try and take any will probably only do so once Blinking Hilarious!

Greg if you are concerned, I could spare a prickly pear or two. I am quite sure that the one from Texas actually throws those tiny brown "arrows" at you when you walk too close to it. Dividing/removing pads from them is always fun...not... Grumbling
Just be careful those women don't slip some broccoli into your beds. Hilarious!
