I bought some seeds a couple of years ago- From Darkness Comes Light is the pod parent. in 2019, some of the seedlings bloomed, a stripe, a bitone, one that wasn't well saturated color-wise, and a few that were pretty, but had other issues (poor scape, small bud counts). Some of the scapes had dark coloration and there were some dark buds as well, though the scape colors didn't hold through the season.
I recall those seedlings being among the first daylilies to bloom last year, which I chalked up to their newness.
As of today 5/25/20, four of the seedlings have scapes up- one of which had to have been up for a couple of days, as it's almost as tall as the foliage (15-18" so far). FDCL is an early bloomer and it has passed that trait on to a few of its offspring.
Will update again later with this year's seedling photos.
