It's a 6" hole in my small grassy yard -- what is causing it, how do I stop it? I do have rabbits that I'm trying to control with fox urine -- not helping much -- would welcome feedback on both issues.
Thanks for the help -- and advice. First time using this site --
That looks a lot like what my rabbits dig from time to time. I ignore it because it is in my yard and I don't care about my grass 'crop'. lol. that said, they usually do it in drier dirt with more dead leaves and grass around to cover it up.

Squirrels can cause that much damage and more digging for hickory nuts at my house. Fortunately the spots fill in quickly. I have eliminated the recidivism rate for a number of individuals but overall there is not much that can be done.
That looks identical to what the gophers have done in my yard and garden.
They have been very difficult for me to eradicate. I have caught several with a "cinch trap". You can get great instructions on YouTube on how to use them.
