A reliable performer. The edge is prominent, but not bright. But this one is very hardy here.

I have had SWEDISH GIRL for about 18 years. I first acquired it when I lived in MD and it performed well. It came with me to NY and continues to perform well. I love it.

I first saw this plant at the Tidewater Daylily Society Plant sale in 2015. It was displayed as an offscape and I and many others decided we had to have it. Luckily, Sterretts Garden on the eastern shore had it in stock and I picked it up shortly after. It looks good in my garden, 'Swedish Girl' calls people over to it. The pink perfectly outlines this near white daylily.

I enjoy this one it does well here and the bloom appeals to me with it's darker edge a good northern grower.

There is also a Tet conversion of Swedish Girl that passes on similar traits to it's offspring. Both the dip and tet version are still being used in modern day breeding. This is a plant I don't own but need to add to my garden. I have a few seedlings that would look great crossed with it. I'm glad to hear so many people are pleased with it.

Swedish Girl is one of the most photogenic plants I own. It's tall and elegant, and the blooms are gorgeous. I need to move it as it has outgrown its spot. I wish it were a rebloomer, but I have no other complaints. It seems to thrive here in the hot, humid South.

Best of all, it has been very rust-resistant here.

I bought Swedish Girl from Cameron Stern at the annual NEDS Daylily sale in May 2023. She started with two fans and bloomed from July 7-21 with 8 blooms. By October, she had three fans. So far, so good! She is super pretty and I've been on the verge of buying her since 2017 when I first saw her in an Oakes catalogue. Nan's photos convinced me to get her this year at the sale. I also saw a pretty clump at the Nationals. Here's a photo from there.
