Thread OP

Curious what people are using to tie greenhouse plants to care information?

I'd like to put some sort of a tag - either full text or bar codes tied to a phone database app, that will allow me to identify the plant, and get a detailed listing on care instructions - light, soil, watering, fertilizing, etc.

I'm tired of looking at the 1/2 inch stake tag for the name, and running into the house to look up care instructions on the web.

What are people using?

Thanks

Sorry, I'm technology challenged as well as living deep in the woods with no cell service.

I use plain old name tags here. I tried keeping reference book in the greenhouse but that wasn't a good plan either.

Please let us know what you decide to do and how well it works for you.

A friend of mine created QR codes which she links to her gardening blog. I'm sure you could do that and connect them to their database entry here. I'm not sure what app she uses, but I know there's quite a few out there

There's an option in your plants list to "show QR codes," if that helps.

It seems like a lot of info that you want to include on a label -- but possibly there is some sort of label maker that will do that?
