Ordered something from Glasshouse works, a Poplar tree and replanted into a gallon pot. This started growing from the pot and is now 3 feet tall, nothing that I have ever seen before. Any ideas? Karen

This is a complete stab in the dark, but maybe a Cleome seed that found it's way into the soil mix ????
Foliage reminds me of Cleome.

Or lupines?

I thought cleome too.



Edited to add, to avoid confusion, that the name has changed and what we knew as Cleome hassleriana is now Tarenaya hassleriana

Yes, I think you guys are right. It looks exactly like that cleome picture. I better plant it where it can finish growing and bloom. Thanks for helping. Karen
