I think this is H. fulva Flore Pleno, but it seems rather flat. Just don't know what else it could be. I has to have been in my garden forever, but I don't remember seeing it before.

I have learned to accept mine as Flore Pleno/Kwanso like plants and be happy with that. I had many that looked like various versions and it became impossible to tell between them, the same looking blooms were on tall and short scapes, some had lighter leaves, some had broader leaves, their were just too many variations to contend with.

It's a beautiful double bloom nonetheless. nodding I must have Flore Plenty because mine are not as rambunctious as they say Fulva is. Also, most of mine aren't tall. Shrug! I agree with Larry--just enjoy them.

I think I remember a discussion about Kwanso/Fore Pleno a long time ago. I can tell the difference between them. It doesn't really matter much, as I don't use orange daylilies in my gardens, so it will always be a backbencher, along with a couple of Kwansos.

That looks like a vivid orange with a 'near' applique pattern. I hope someone can give you some possibilities for identification. I what I see in the photo - a lot.
