The name Spiraea alba implies white. It can be very pale pink but this looks darker. Might this be Spiraea tomentosa?

It is a white Meadowsweet plant, with pale pink tones, it is just it was raining and so the petals are translucent and the whole photograph has a pink tone, especially more so as it is cropped for just up-close on a couple blooms/was color enhanced to brighten the photo as it was a dark day. If you think it looks too misleading for the Alba category and could cause confusion for someone researching a plant, I can ask to have the picture removed!

Thanks!

If the pink is colour enhanced could you maybe enhance it back to the natural colour? I notice that one of your three does look paler. It's very pretty in that enhanced shade of pink though!

I have this plant and have noticed some variation in the color. In native habitats, I have seen it shaded slightly pink with pink centers. If one looks at photographs published at the Native Plant Trust's Gobotany website, one will find a photo with a vivid pink hue taken by respected botanist / author Arthur Haines. https://gobotany.nativeplanttr...
