I've had this for a few years now and love it. Large bright red flowers, more mid-late for me and I haven't had any rebloom on it but in my area that almost never happens with any of my plants. It increases well without being aggressive. First year I've tried and it set pods easily.

This plant does really well in my garden with no special care. It has a nice color, shape, and size,
with scapes at the 36" height, but only terminal "Y" branching with an average of only 10 to 12 buds.
It does increase well, and I agree it is not agressive. No rebloom here either. It is a full dormant here.

It's definitely vigorous. Not sure how I would rate it compared with parent Joan Derifield. Occasionally splotchy.

By the way, not that it is a big deal, but I haven't noticed any acorns being awarded for evaluations recently.

You are right and I do think Deryll's evaluation ranked one. I gave you one too for mentioning that fact!
