Included in this landscape photo, bottom, is Lobularia Frosty Knight. This is a Proven Winner selection and it is exactly that -- a proven winner. One of the first plants I put out in the Spring because it can take the cold ... goes strong all Summer and well into the Fall. In most years, it outlasts my mums. My garden is ravaged by deer - this is one of the few plants I NEVER spray and it remains un-touched. Five stars.
The center star performer is Sunpatiens Electric Orange, Compact. While this beauty does require spraying to ward off hungry deer - the performance and color it provides are well worth the effort. As you can see -- the color is amazing.
At the top is a new favorite, Coleus Campfire - a Ball introduction in 2016. It thrives in full sun as well as partial shade and the color is terrific. A close-up would show the beautiful blending of copper and orange shades.

Thank you for your comments. Coleus Campfire is really a good one ... have gotten many interesting "volunteer" seedlings from it -- on a plant that is slow to flower. This year Ball introduced Coleus Inferno which I think is even better

I looked it up on the Ball site - very pretty and colorful. Will have to look for it next spring.
