This looks like an iris, but the bloom stalk is all wrong. Appears to be just past bloom today, September 4. Whatever it is, i want it?
Please, somebody give name and source to buy???
Seen in street planting in Des Moines, Iowa. Whoever designs their street plantings is a design genius!

To me, it looks like a variegated Phormium.

My thinking is Flax Lily (Dianella tasmanica 'Variegata'),The old dried flower stalk looks like those on mine .

I'm not familiar with Dianella but the plant reminds me of Phormium.

I looked up Dianella and the 2 look surprisingly similar.
