Gotta bring them all inside very soon. I have 6 this size and probably 10 "small" ones. Gene

Gene, I know what you mean! I have seven of different varieties, and mine are still small--quite a bit smaller than yours. I barely have room for them NOW. What will I do when they get bigger? What variety is yours, by the way? It's gorgeous.

Gene - I'm curious if you grew them outside in the sun as it appears in the photo or in shade?

Winter - indoors under lights, of course. Summer - outside in deep shade. Gene

Both of these pots spent the summer where there was direct sun for a couple hours mid-morning, and about an hour in the evening.

'Silver Bay' with some Neoregelia. This pot was hung rigidly with steel wire, and could not spin.

A. modestum, A. commutatum, and a Peperomia tricolor leaf @ the bottom. This pot was hung with fishing line, which allows spinning easily. This angle does not show it, but the symmetry of these plants is amazing, as a whole. The individuals have arranged themselves to look like they are working together, each leaf finding an angle to get some light.

Mourning the loss of 'Silver Bay' over winter. It happened suddenly & seemed like it was from the cold but its' potmates were unaffected by whatever happened.

A. modestum blooming. (Same pot as the last pic in my last post.) Going to try to find a spot for this pot for summer with less sun in hopes of cultivating bigger, darker leaves on these Ags. For the first 15 or so yrs I had the plain A. modestum, it never went outside & had darker, bigger leaves.

Gene, those are gorgeous.Do you plan to prune back, or move on to bigger pots eventually?
I have a couple 'old standard' Aglaonema and two of the newer pink/red ones. Most of them need some attention, but I don't want to mess with potting until it can be done outside. I can take cuttings though. Would (anyone) say put them in water, or soil, or doesn't matter?
Plant it and they will come.

Most of the plants from my last pics, in the ground for summer vacay. A couple got put into a newly created combo-pot. This is the only batch of plants I did that for, (OH, and a couple Sans.) All of the darker green leaves on A. modestum are new since doing that.
