We visited Phipps Conservatory in Pitts, Pa. last week. They had a beautiful Christmas Show. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the display.
We will start with the picture frames, there were several of these and the Grandfather Clock that worked and chimed.

There were plenty of cute little guys planted in good sized groups that looked just spectacular.

These are for the semps and sedum lovers. They had great Topiary outside in the courtyards all done with semps and sedums. Not looking like much in these cold temp but interesting. There were Bees and several other bugs plus a small maze done with living walls.

Beautiful! I loved the picture frames and it was interesting to see the framing of the topiary underneath, one of the benefits of winter I suppose. Nice pictures.

Lynn, We have the same taste. The Wax Agave was just beautiful I have seen Jades in flower before but they always amaze me. I just couldn't get over the size of the Tortoise Shell. I have seen smaller ones with a little stem but when I realized that all that growth was coming from that plant I was stunned.

While looking for parking we ended up back behind the Conservatory where there was some trash dumped one of the things in that pile was a Topiary frame of a good sized Dinosaur. I'm thinking it might have been about 6ft tall. If we would have had the Explorer it would have come home with me. Ric asked if I wanted it but it was terribly muddy and messy and I'm not sure we could have gotten it in the back of the Subaru. Since we were headed inside I didn't want to mess with it. Should have remembered to check back when we were leaving to see if it would have fit.

I have been to Phipps Conservatory maybe twice in my life. I enjoyed it both times but the Pittsburgh traffic is horrendous. I live only 10 miles south-west of Pittsburgh but never go there. Miss one exit turn and you can never get back that way. It's access to the park way is just one almost not marked exit. With all the hills, valleys and rivers it's the worse city to travel in.
Very nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
