Five years ago, I gave this daylily to a friend and then the plant started to rot. So last year I asked for a piece back and got 11 tiny fans. This cultivar always makes tiny fans. It's in the south box and it got hit big time with this last hurricane. It's standing up and isn't hurt at all. Love it!! Might move it to the back when I redo boxes this fall. It grows well here (obviously) and I love the soft color, although I usually trend to the saturated colors. This is a keeper!

Yes, hardy here too. Slow to average multiplier. Perhaps a tad shorter than registered. An earlier bloomer here.

I used to have this but it didn't like Yorkshire weather AT ALL! Sad

Can't remember if it died or if I composted it but I was sad that it didn't thrive here. Can't remember if it ever flowered while I had it.

My biggest complaint here with 'Missouri Memories' is that in my garden it is very rust prone. It has a nice long bloom period but the scapes are normally shorter than I would like. This year the first bloom was at the end of March and it was still blooming into September, the last photo I recorded my last photo of it in late August.

I too love the soft colour of MM. It doesn't get rust much since it is away from other Hems and the wallabies repeatedly ate it to the ground. This Spring (here in the southern hemisphere) I put a large wire basket over it so it has great foliage again even though we have had no rain for months now.

Last year it flowered over a long period. Will look it up and edit.

If anyone had asked me about Missouri Memories last year, I would have said it was just so-so. But this year, it really outdid itself. I was very excited to see it blooming well this year, because I had it on the chopping block. Not anymore!

Purchased for $4.50 in 2011 and split with my daughter, Missouri Memories probably only started in my garden with 1 fan (possibly 2). So maybe that is why it took 6 years for it to get up to 8 fans. This is not your "Wow!" daylily. The colors are very soft and muted, but I think that is what makes it so dainty and feminine looking.

It started blooming on 6/10/17 and the last picture I took was on 8/1/17 with a few more blooms to go. The bud count was okay, maybe between 15-20, branching was 3-4 way.

Fresh scapes on 6/14/17 bursting with buds!

Taken on 6/18/17, this picture kind of shows that the scape is taller than the foliage, but just right over the top (please pardon the spent scape on the right, I usually take those off). In the background on the right, H. No Blue Oxfords is showing off its scapes getting ready to bloom. Just for reference, NBO is registered as 37" and MM is registered at 26".

It looks like the scape is leaning a little, but overall, the scapes were sturdy and upright. Pic on 7/21/17.

Here is the last picture I took of MM this year on 8/1/17. Still has a couple of blooms to go and showing most of the bud scars, which is how I came up with the 15-20 bud count.

Definitely a keeper in my garden!

First booms for this year June 14, (not late blooming for me), fragrant, diamond dusted, stays short barely blooms above the foliage-some are down in the foliage. Bud count of 10 for me. The blooms open out well and are sometimes rounder in shape and sometimes more triangle shaped-not consistent in it's shape. I have had it several years, considering parting with it. The soft pink is pretty though.
