I planted Papa Goose in April 2021. By June 1, it was blooming, being one of the earliest to bloom of the new Daylilies. It only made six blooms and was over by June 15, but it was thrilling to have such an early bloom this year.

Papa Goose has done spectacularly in my yard in 2022. Starting off the season with 2 fans, PG bloomed from June 30 - July 31, with over 30 blooms. By October, it was up to 4 fans and had produced 2 giant healthy proliferations which are now two giant healthy plants in my house, waiting to be planted next to their Papa in the Spring. A wonderful giant flower, in a pretty clear pink. Very well deserving of the Lenington All-Around medal!

2023 update… Papa Goose is going strong this year. Blooming from June 26 to July 24, there were at least 30 large, pink glorious flowers. It ended the season with 9 fans. That's a nice increase in two years! It's also great to see this big unusual form before anything else like that is blooming as it starts as an Early here.
