There are seeds in the berries.
I don't have a great deal of luck getting lantana to grow from seed.

Rooting is easy.

In the autumn.... About now.... Cover the branches with soil/mulch/manure.... Whatever.
In spring, branches should have roots.
Of course.... You have to be in a warm enough climate....

This spring when I set out the new plants.... Some of the branches didn't have any roots.... I planted them anyway.... They grew fine.

I also have not had luck growing lantana from seed. They do work well as cuttings, or just covering a branch with soil as mentioned. I think TX should be warm enough for it to work well. What color do you have?

Hi, good to hear from lantana lovers. I have magenta, Orange, and golden yellow and the old pinkyellow. Thanks for your advise. I will try and see what happens. cillay
