Crikey, I hope I spelled that right. Follows is a link to a 30 second video of masses of bees enjoying the last if the season in a very small bed of oros. I know it's not semps, but it's close ...

Well, hell. Seems to've linked to all my recent plant-related posts. Apologies. The video is only a few posts in for anyone who's interested

And now it says the link is broken. But I know the post is there - I just checked. Can anyone tell me how to delete this thread?

And, now it's back in view. I'm confused, but the video is lovely.

I watched the video, no problem... lots and lots of bees! It reminded me of how they love my Autumn Joy in late summer. Big Grin

It worked for me to. Thanks for posting that Kate. That's what my orostachys Ed's Hybrid looked like a week ago. Its the only time this season I have seen many honey bees and there were hundreds. Yesterday as the flowers are past their prime there are still some honey bees and a few small bumble bees.

Same here, nights are cold enough that most of the bees are gone now.

Well I will not be losing any sleep if I don't get seed. Yours are all outside in the rain aren't they Lynn?

The bees are pretty much gone here too.

Jo Ann, all of my plants are out in the rain. The Oros come back every year from the tiny rosettes to go dormant for the winter.
