Ontario Canada
I used black mulch in my garden beds this summer. I found it really kept the weeds down. Do I leave it on all winter? I live in ontario canada.

I live in southeast Texas and we are big mulch users down here. I have black mulch in my flower beds and around the shrubs all year every year. I keep it away from the base of the house though because it will attract ants and termites. There may be special considerations for your area that I am unaware of.

Organic Mulch of any kind can stay, then you can top it with more as it decays and gets thin.
Plant it and they will come.
