A friend gave me some seeds from this plant. It is a fall blooming plant and I would like to see a photo of this. It looks like a chrysanthium but the seeds are shinny and crisp. Thanks for any help.

You have seen a lot of them but didn't realize it. Those are the flowers glued on the heads of poor unsuspecting cactus plants at the Big Box store. Smiling More commonly know as Straw Flowers because the fresh flowers are, seemingly, made of straw.
