Today's plant of the day for Sempervivum is Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Feldmaier').

This plant can be found in our Plant Database at:

An old favorite from 1965. A lovely robust and productive sempervivum.

'Feldmaier' is a good one. Interesting colors and very stout leaves and rosettes.
Here's mine in Spring and in Fall today.

Nice photos Tim. Shows just how tough 'Feldmaier' really is with our tough rainy season, then into a long drought season.

I prefer the Spring color. Nothing else looks quite like it but there are many that look very similar to the Fall Feldmaier.
