Can be very nice, but hasn't been consistent here. For past two years, scapes have been much shorter than registered.

I used to grow HILLBILLY HEART. I would agree with what Mantis said about it being very nice some days. It was an inconsistent performer for me. It was removed from the garden and replaced with LIGHT OF THE WORLD which has been a consistent performer.

I haven't had a problem with inconsistency, it has always bloomed nicely, multiplied fast. Some days it looks like a bouquet, so very full of blooms. Seems to bloom fast & furious, so not for a long time, but it does always rebloom. My biggest problem with it is that scapes are always shorter than registered, barely above the foliage.

When it bloomed I loved it. But I had so few blooms it just was not worth growing. So I finally removed it.

I received this from Oakes in the Spring of 2017. I never saw any blooms and by Fall of 2018, it was gone.
