Hello. I have a dwarf cara cara pink navel and a Meyer lemon semi dwarf. When digging a hole to plant, I noticed ground water, probably downflow from my backyard. Here is an image. Is this not a healthy place to plant either? Will they get overwatered? The top soil is damp and firm, not sludgy.

There aren't many plants that will survive in that much water. Could you possibly plant your trees in some large planters and place them there?

Definitely not a healthy place to plant your citrus.
