Fantastic plant! Makes big fans; scapes are tall and above the foliage. Blooms are consistent in shape and color. Pod and pollen fertile. I hope to see some seedlings next year. Takes dividing well. It is one of my favorites. I say that about a lot of them.

The blue eye is startling in its blueness and clarity. Scapes are taller than registered. Have gotten some rebloom here every year. A favorite here also, though I find the freckling to sometimes detract from the base color of the blossom, especially in cool weather. Quite vigorous.

I planted a two fan piece of Linda Sierra this spring. It grew well this summer and I just checked it and it is now three good looking fans. It did not bloom this season, but am hoping for blooms next year. So far, it seems to be thriving. I will update this thread after its first winter.
Edit, Spring 2018
Linda Sierra came through a very harsh, long winter with no problems. The foliage looks great and it is sending up scapes, mid-June.
Edit, August, 2018
Linda Sierra bloomed extremely well, and rebloomed, too. I am very pleased with this cultivar.

Last fall I planted two fans. The plant looks wonderful, sturdy scapes and nice blooms, opens quite well even in cold weather and has an instant rebloom on both fans. And it sets pods......a daylily to work with!!
