I have lotus seedlings growing and have some seeds to start but I'm a bit hesitant to move them to a container due to my cats. Can anyone tell me if lotus is toxic to cats? I know humans can eat some varieties and I'm positive these are lotus seeds.

Thank you Smiling

In the meanwhile - here is a list of plants poisonous to cats, I don't see Lotus/ Nelumbo listed.
