I'm a perennial girl. I don't have tons of free time so I need somethings that can mostly take care of themselves Hilarious!

Hurray! Team perennial here. Although I do grow some veggies that are annuals for us. And I planted coleus this last summer (that's an annual). They did so well I will plant them again this year. Everything else is perennials. Hurray!

I am a perennial person too. Its too hard to put annuals in the ground every year, for this geezer.
I would rather dig one great hole for a perennial than redig for annuals every year.
I even plant out of zone bulbs as annuals but only ( caladiums , glads, etc. )
I use annuals in containers.

Perennials mostly, although if there is a native annual that suits my purpose whether in color or height I will give them a try, but if they are too difficult to maintain I don't do it again.
I just love perennials. Smiling

Team perennial 99%. If people come to tour, I buy a few pots of annuals to hang or do a planter. And I do have my barn wall decorated with pots of bright colored verbenas.

I'd say 90% Perennial. Use Annuals for a few containers and like to add some Coleus to the shade garden for a shot of color. Planted a bed of asparagus last year hoping to be able to harvest this spring and there is nothing like Jersey Tomatoes.

Perennial plants for sure. I have some annuals that reseed themselves, but I gave up paying for annuals that dissappear after one year.

PERENNIAL!
I'm working my way to a garden that will be easily tended.
No way am I going to plant things I have to remove/replace later!
I may use some petunias to fill in between my young perennial groundcovers until they gat big enough to do the job by themselves.
And of course, I'll plant some food crops that are annual, but that's different.

I love how these random team questions pop up now and again. I'm team perennial almost all the way, with some annuals tucked in here and there for color spots throughout the season. I also have one annual bed that I am trying to develop into a self-seeding bed that will behave much like a perennial bed.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
