I need some snow pics! I love snow, but we normally won't have any until December or January.

Mine are just going into the winter mode, just a question when with the snow.

Brrrr, they have the look of being cold. Good thing they like that. They look healthy and ready for winter.

Hurray!
Yay for snow. And that tiny semp is cute all dressed up in snow. I love that we see touches of dark green for contrast. So this is it's winter colors?

Here are some disasters shot a minute ago in low light with a shaky hand. I can hear the dirty dolphin asking now, "where's the focus in that one"?

Good news is we got *most* of the winter prep done about 30 mins after the snow started. But it felt good.

Not sure why I was shooting at f/2.8. But you get the point nonetheless. The middle one is an homage to one of my truly triumphant photos this year.

But the point is: IT'S SNOWING HERE...and cold (and we still have to take the dogbeasts on their Sunday adventure. Ugh.)

Update & breaking news:

Yes, I did hear the phrase, repeated thrice.
This is fun: The thread "Asa's former lawn...or (better) Dirt's current gardens" in Garden Photos forum

Hilarious! (and Rolling on the floor laughing especially the homage --what a triumphant photo that was indeed!)

We were both whimpering quite a bit walking into the cold wind pelting us with the white stuff I'll confess!

In order to compensate both the low light and your shaky hand? Could you repost your triumphant photo as I don't remember it?? Please!!

Triumphant, in this context, must be said with ones tongue lodged firmly in ones cheek. The photo sits majestically in 72nd place in the cactus/succulents category of the photo contest.

If you look really closely, you might be able to see a couple of little sempyballs making a break for freedom there under the snow.
