I had grown this in my Zone 5B garden for at least 5 years. It looked wonderful when it bloomed but was very inconsistent from year to year. I finally got rid of it.

Marseilles Watercolor was new to me last year, but it bloomed very well its first season in the garden. I will update this thread next summer when I can report on how it comes through the winter. The blooms were lovely and there were lots of them for a first year plant. I did not set pods on it since it was its first year, but did use its pollen successfully.

Interesting patterning was shown on some of the blooms.

Marseilles Watercolor came through the winter perfectly, and bloomed early and for a long time. I did set two pods on it this year. It has quickly become a favourite!
