hey folks! I'm been looking for some plants of mentioned types for many years but can't find them for sale anywhere. was wondering if any of you have them growing nearby and could dig and send me some. ill pay shipping. i have blackcurrant, elderberry, ever bearing raspberries, wild blackberry, aronia and rhubarb to trade for. all are z3a-4b hardy. obviously this would happen come spring. just trying to line things up now. these plants supposedly are native to n. maine but I've never seen them. im trying to include as many of the native berries i can in my garden and plan to reintroduce to their wild habitat once i get enough to transplant . thanks for your time!

Steve, sorry this just kind of sat here. I am across the country from you, Pacific NW, so not of much help. My suggestion would be to contact your local native plant society, which often has seedling sales and/or could point you in the direction of native nurseries. I applaud your efforts to introduce natives to your yard! Great idea. Here's a couple web links that may be helpful:

Good luck with your project.
