Well, the day is getting closer and I didn't want to miss out wishing a warm and sincere Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends here, new and (well) older. It is encouraging to think that four days before Christmas we will begin getting more sun. Three hard months to go, but around the bend soon.

Thank you Mary! But I am still counting hours till winter solstice! Every year I forget how dark it is in December! It helps to have landmarks - solstice, Christmas, New Year, new peony catalogs (!), my birthday and then here comes the sun!

Anyway thank you for the warm thoughts and Merry coming Christmas to all Forum friends!

Merry Christmas to all!! We are having much warmer weather than we should have, but I am not complaining. I just think that all those Peonies I planted this Fall must be sprouting roots like crazy!!

I always look forward to the Winter Solstice to start heading into the light! I feel like a vampire leaving for and coming home from work in the dark. Hang in there Mary Stella and Anya!! I hope we get through the Holidays without storms.

Wish everyone a wonderful Holiday! And a great relaxing vacation if you are able to get a few more days off than the company allows. Sure wish I have the warm temps that you get down there, LG. We are still experiencing arctic air in our area. I will sure be looking forward to warmer days and shorter nights after the winter solstice. With all of us adding so many new peonies this year, next spring will be one exciting blooming season. Is anyone looking to add new ones from Solaris Farms next year?

I certainly plan to look at what Solaris offers this year! The plan is to get less than last year, though.

I always look at the Solaris webpage, even now when they are closed I love Europa very much, no plans to get it soon though.

Our Merry Christmas is Christmas Eve. All of the "kids" and their families gather here then have Christmas with their in-laws. The grandkids make out like bandits with two Christmas days. I guess a good wish for a peony lover would be may all your desired plants be available at a huge discount and delivered on time and in good quality.
