Can anyone tell me what this plant is? I got it from the clearance pile at Walmart a few weeks ago. It's been outside in the cold and doesn't seem to be suffering much. The leaves are thick, plastic like texture.

It reminds me of Peperomia but I'm not sure which one. We have quite a few listed in our database with photos: https://garden.org/plants/sear...

It may be the non-variegated form of this one:
Variegated Teardrop Peperomia (Peperomia 'Orba Variegata')

The stems and leaves still look like Peperomia to my eyes.

Looks like Peperomia to my old eyes as well. Time will tell. Wait for flowers; then you can be certain.

Would you guys have an idea of what one?
Sedum ternatum and Peperomia orba are the only succulents in general that touched it that i thougtht of. i also know the stems of the Ice plant do get redness in winter and thick much to that nature and growth habit. this is killing me for some reason haha

To my eyes, it doesn't look anything like Sedum ternatum:

Supporting the ID Peperomia orba. leaves arrangement can exclude the other two candidates.
Sedum ternatum has leaves in whorls of three, (hence the species name ternatum)
Mesembriathemum has opposite paired leaves
while P orba has alternated leaves

Since most agree that it may be a Peperomia, can we address the issue of exposure to cold? Don't think most Peperomia care for the cold.

Good question also i think whats throwing me off a little is that its severely etoilated causing it to stand quite high and the base to cause abnormally big support.

I have a Portulacaria afra plant and the leaves on magicmusicword's plant do resemble that one but the stems don't appear as woody and the growth habit of the plant in question still reminds me more of Peperomia.
