Thought it was a button cactus (lophophora), but it has spines so I'm not sure. Any help? Thanks Smiling

I have been putting my brain through some calisthenics and I keep coming back to Echinopsis. Maybe Echinopsis subdenudata.

Actually i think some hybrids of Lophophora do indeed have spines i would wait it out a little longer for a proper ID. very healthy.

Yes, some Lophophora do have little spines. It's such nicely defined ridges that they lack.

Yes true but ive seen some definition in hybrids of these guys that are quite significant. also i awould really check out the Genus of Melocactus and Gymnocalycium. ill put my money there if i had to at this stage in growth.
