I have found on my Kindle "library list" on my iPad that I have some items I most certainly did NOT order, they are not on my "device purchases" on Amazon and I cannot get rid of them. I have these:

How can I delete this crap permanently??? I cannot swipe and delete, I cannot hold my finger down on the "cover" and delete...........it wants to download it to my iPad. I WANT THIS GARBAGE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to your Manage Your Kindle page on the web. You can delete them permanently from there very easily.

I have some of those too, Anna. I think maybe they came pre-loaded on my Kindle Fire when we got it. I've tried to figure out how to delete them and haven't found the way yet. I hope someone will know the answer. It does drive me batty having things I don't want or use.

Just talked to someone from Amazon. We're screwed.....no way to remove them. *sigh*..........I have no need for a Hindi or Chol dictionary.

I said I have had my iPad for at least 4 years and this junk just showed up in the last few months. She said that that was the way it was, pre-loaded (tho how it can be preloaded after all THAT time is beyond me). There is no way to get rid of it. Yeah, I feel the same way. Pffttt.

I will admit I know nothing about anything Kindle, but online there are directions to delete the American Dictionary from Kindle. Maybe following the same steps would work for each of the offending items.??? https://www.techwalla.com/arti...

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I do hate having junk on my Kindle that I don't use, and they are right that occasionally the dictionary thing will pop up when I don't want it to.

Not gonna work on the iPad. Bet it won't work on the Kindle either. Well, maybe for the American one, but not for the mumbo-jumbo ones.
