I am told that Ziggy doesn't always bloom with striated falls. What is your experience with this iris? Is it a reliable rebloomer in zone 6a?

I had it, but lost it to rot. I had gotten it from another member of my local Iris Society and they had no issue growing it. Thus you should have no issue growing it in New Jersey. The pattern on the Falls could be affected by the soil/water/sunlight/fertilizer paradigm.

As a broken color iris, you will find a wide variety of patterning on the falls. I have never had one bloom with solid color falls, but I suppose it is possible.

I have Ziggy, I'm in zone 9, and it's never rebloomed for me, but I haven't given it any extra water in the summer. Normally I don't get rebloom on many rebloom irises. I have not had the real striated falls like what is shown in the database.

I will have a few Ziggy rhizomes to sell this summer.
