Many seed sellers were left in a lurch when a deadbeat buyer ordered hundreds of seed lots and did not pay (and worse, received seeds but told them they never arrived!! Thumbs down Grumbling Grumbling ).

Several great sellers like Emery, Gramps @EdBurton here on NGA), Ninamosha, & Cassa will be relisting many crosses that you may have placed bids on but were outbid by this deadbeat buyer....so go check out the LA seed listings to see if there's something you missed out on!

Let's see if we can help these wonderful sellers turn something negative into something positive!!! Group hug

Regina do you have the name of the person? Usually you pay before they ship. I can see one or two getting lost in the mail but not an entire shipment to one person. I got some seeds that got crushed in the mail, the seller is sending some replacements. I know that she must be suspicious after all this. I took pictures right away and offered to send them to her. I am not that kind a guy!!!!!!!!

Mike, I'm sure your seller is more than happy to fix those crushed seeds...those types of things happen and aren't suspicious to me at all (I've now racked up hundreds of sales and sometimes packages just get handled rough).
Yes, I do know his name as he has been banned on many FB daylily and hosta groups for repeatedly doing sellers wrong. Somehow he managed to get going on the LA. He paid for a while and earned trust, then talked a few into sending without full payment being made. The shipment he says he didn't get came from Canada, so it could not be tracked all the way to the states. She wound up refunding his money, even though she feels sure he got the seeds.

So that no one else gets scammed by him, or he finds our group on here and starts issues, I will 'out him'...his name is Rick Rock, rrock on the LA, where he's now been banned.
If you want to see what kind of scorched earth he left behind, go look at his feedback...all those listings that he didn't get will have to be relisted, which is very time consuming. Plus, prices of seeds start to drop a bit at this time of year. Just a bad deal all around. Hoping these sellers can resell most of what they have left and recoup some of their money. He started buying on Sept 18 and racked up 22 pages of feedback in that short time (by my math, 22 pages x 50 feedback per page= 1100 items 'bought' in 4 months).

To administrators, if my post violates rules, please feel free to edit and I will tell people to send me a tree mail instead.

Regina thanks for that update. I have seen that person bidding on the LA. There will always be unscrupulous
humans among us always trying to get over on others. We just have to keep our guard up. Similar issues are done on some of the other popular sites also.

Yes, I sold some of my unused, but expensive aquarium equipment on a well known auction site, and one person claimed they did not receive something. It was sent to another country, at the time with incomplete tracking. I refunded the money, but I think this person just knew how to scam Sighing! I feel bad for these sellers. It is a lot of work to sell on an auction site, and to have to turn around and do it all again must be so frustrating Angry

THis gets my blood boiling so much! All the work that had been going into growing and collecting the seeds, labeling them, putting them into packs, and listing them on auctions and sending them out - to have this person scamming people for their honest work is so outrageous and terrible. I just can't imagine why and how anyone could do this to another human being.

Regina - Thanks for the name! Yes .... there are always people like that out there that will take advantage of others.

He got me good, he quadrupled at least, maybe higher, all my losses combined in 10 years as a seller

By the time we realized the damage it was so late in the selling season, the seeds ended selling for a fraction of value, or didn't sell at all, all I know is that the people I was shipping to in the end had a banner bonus seed year.
Also he did pay for the early wins so he looked legit, and his feedback was OK until it wasn't, that's how he built my trust anyway, what we didn't know and a new twist to the con game was that he was paying some people while ignoring others, that continued past his expulsion from the auction.
The wins he paid for I shipped with signature confirmation, I already heard the he didn't get scam, He got what he paid for nothing more nothing less.

As a seller 99.5 of everyone we deal with are great people, I ship without getting paid to a few long time buyers because I know they will catch up, lets face it my buyers trust me to deliver and I trust my buyers.
The few .05% stick out, but Mr Rock will be a legend
