Some more images of Siloam Gumdrop - one of my favourite Siloams by Pauline Henry:

Thumb of 2018-02-03/HemNorth/22233b Lovely blending of the central colour, and petals have a delicate ruffling of the edges.

Thumb of 2018-02-03/HemNorth/e1d2fb Not sure if the heat is frying the petal edges, or whether that is a gilded gold edge.

Thumb of 2018-02-03/HemNorth/5ba442 A bit low to the ground, but many buds, so a long bloom period.

Siloams tend to do well for me, I think Gumdrop is one of the better ones. I don't care for smaller flowered daylilies, but this one is a keeper.

One of my favorite smaller daylily plants. Pushes lots and lots of blooms with a very nice and simplistic color scheme that works well with lots of other flower types and colors. The only downfall is that it produces short scapes so you'll need to keep it near the front of the border to be seen properly.
