Question about multiples. I have way too many of some varietes that were collected this past fall. Can I put them in Multiple pakts and offer them that way, or do I need to separate each packet. I want to share them before they do get old. I save tons of tomato seeds every year. None of them are more then 2 years old, but only sharing the ones that are a year old.

Hi KD,
I'm not sure what you mean about offering multiple packets. Do you mean offer several packets of different tomatoes as one item? I'm thinking that can't be what you mean, but am not clear on exactly what you're asking. Can you clarify for me?
THANK YOU

Sorry vma492 I figured it out. What I was asking is was it the same as the last swap where we could offer the mulitiple packets all as one or if we had to seperate them when offereing. But looks like it is the same as with the other swap.

To answer your question, yes, this is the same as every other NGA swap in listing and offerings.

@kdlund One great thing about these swaps is that the mechanics for listing and dibbing never change, so once you do one swap, you pretty much know all that there is to know. Smiling

BAKERS CREEK GROUP SEED ORDER
If there's enough interest, a couple of us would like to do a group order with Bakers Creek. You can order whole packs or indicate you'd like to share if you dont want the whole pack (reducing the cost, getting more variety).

To further help with savings (postage), I'm willing to mail the seeds with the Lightning Swap seeds, we'd just all split the s/h from Bakers Creek, which would be minimal with several ordering.

If interested, please send me your order (item name, price, and indicate if you want to share whatever packs -- I assume one unless you say otherwise) I'd like to get everyone's orders by Saturday so I can put the order together over the weekend.

You can message me here on Garden.org and pay me by paypal.
Questions? please let me know.

THANKS!

Do you have an account and have ordered from Baker Creek in the last 6 months? If so you should be getting free shipping & free seed packets too! Love BC! I actually was planning on placing an order of the following:
Mbombo Beans
Pepino Melon
Brad's Atomic Grape Tomato
Haricot Tarbais Bean
Moranga Squash
Chiba Soybean
Petit Gris de Rennes Melon
Daniels Tomato
Mizuna, Beni Houshi

I am also interested in the Sugar Rush Peach Hot Pepper, Sub-Arctic Plenty Tomato, Thorburn Terra-Cotta Tomato and possibly picking up more Oyster Leaf seeds. So if anyone is interested in splitting any of these please let me know.

@KarenNebr
Wendy and I are sharing the Sub-Arctic Plenty Tomato; Do you want to split 3 ways (you get 8 seeds)?

Also have someone to share the Oyster Leaf seeds with you if you want 1/2 packet.

Karen, can you add the # of seeds per packet and cost of each packet of the things you're ordering please, it will be easier to figure out sharing and totals that way. THANK YOU

Karen, I'd like to split these two packets with you:
Moranga Squash - 20-35 seeds $3.00
Petit Gris de Rennes Melon - 25-50 seeds $3.50

I'd like to order some additional melons as well and would be happy to split packets with anyone who is interested:
Madhu Ras, Rajasthan Honey Melon (25-50 seeds) $4.00
Sweet Passion Melon (25-50 seeds) $2.50
Swan Lake Melon (25-50 seeds) $2.50
Kazakh Melon (25-50 seeds) $3.00

I ordered from Baker Creek last week to have some new offerings for this swap. I had just submitted the order for beans and winter squashes when I remembered I had accidentally created and saved a second shopping cart for the melons. I was debating placing a second order, but I don't really need full packets of so many melons. Thanks, Val, for doing this for us!

Ok ladies and gents,
You have been busy. I'll track all of this including the splitting of packs so far

KarenNebr, thanks for your updated list. The ones that you wanted if anyone wants to split (noted on your first order/post), I will leave off the list until you tell me to add them. Someone might see your post here and want to split. Wendy also wants the Oyster Leaf, so you are willing to split that pack, correct?
These are the ones in question:
Sugar Rush Peach Hot Pepper,
Sub-Arctic Plenty Tomato,
Thorburn Terra-Cotta Tomato

Patrob - my pleasure, so glad it worked out for you.
I only want a few things too, so thought it might be good to see if you all wanted things.

Erica, Gotcha! :D

Is there anyone else who is interested in ordering from Bakers Creek? I'm waiting on one order I know of, and if no one else is interested, then we'll just tally the order sooner.
