Good morning,

We are less than 2 weeks away from Swap time! Can't wait!

I have reviewed a few lists. What Im asking all of you to do is not list anything offering more than 20 items of the same thing. I prefer 15. We have just added a couple new participants, so we're up to 20. But If you list 25-50 offerings of something, there is no way that those will sell because each person can take ONLY ONE, and not everyone is going to want every item you list. This throws the numbers off when I go to set the multiplier, so please keep your items down to 15-20.

A few participants have no listings as yet. I know life is busy, but if you're planning on participating, it'd be helpful if you could get your listings up sooner rather than later. Next week I will be removing anyone without any listings, I believe I've posted 4 days before the swap.

Questions? Please message me!
Best
Val

Well, Time's ticking by, and it's less than a week til SWAP NIGHT! :D

A few reminders:

I've asked everyone to get their lists up by tonight, and everyone participating has done so. If you want to add more seeds, that's FINE, til the day of the swap. I have a handle on the number of tickets that we'll be able to give each person, it looks like 40-45, perhaps 50. Some of that might depend if more seeds go up this week, but no necessary.

The Lightening Swap is one night, "Dib as fast as you can". Remember that if you are given so many tickets (say it's 40 for discussion purposes), this doesnt mean you'll ONLY get 40 packs of seeds. You will continue to accrue additional tickets as the seeds you've offered are taken by other participants.

I'll announce the final ticket disbursement a couple days before the swap.

Please make sure your address is in your profile so I have your address to send seeds. Even better yet, if you can include an address label (make one up is fine!) than I can just slap on your swap seeds to return, it just makes it that much easier

For those of you who have my address, PLEASE NOTE I am asking for the swap seeds to be sent to a different address, which is posted in the "Mail seeds to Host/address" area. I am doing my PT here and staying the majority of March til I return to work.

If you have any questions before or after the swap, please message me. Please keep this space open for Host Postings - and everyone should keep an eye out here, tho I dont expect to be making alot of posts!
I also might miss it if you post on the forums, tho I'm trying to be present as much on line this week as possible.

I've been keeping tabs on the number of offerings, and the majority are listed as of Monday night; It looks like we'll be able to start off with 100 tickets each as the swap starts.

Can't wait til Saturday evening!

See you then!

Andrea, you're fine. Most have an average of 100 varieties listed, some less, some more.

I am at about 120 also and all but 3 are on someone's wishlist. I'm going to add a few more since I am through bagging and labeling everything I have offered so far.

So just to remind everyone, the swap stays open for 24 hours. That means that the "final send list" of everything you sold and need to pack (as well as packing instructions) will not appear on your swap screen until that time.

Dave has made it so easy to pack by giving us this check list by participant. Please dont forget to pack your seeds for each person in clear baggies with the check list included, and clearly marked for who it is going to

THANK YOU!!

Hi Guys, I am surprised that nobody picked my Broccoli romanesco. Its the cross between Broccoli and Cauliflower, please google it. Its not at all common.

I saw your romanesco too late I'd already run out tickets! But I agree it's very unique, looks fun to grow!
