I have found that full sun can bleach the blossoms quite badly.
I planted mine next to Jovial, and think I should place it with some of the other smaller Siloams, since it doesn't show well beside a large Daylily.
Name: Louise Alley Central Maine, Waterville (Zone 5a)
I've had this plant for about 15 years. It's one of my favorite Salomes; hardy, grows where it's planted despite conditions, flower is like the pictures, colors change some with the weather.
I have had this cultivar for many years and it grows very well in my garden. The flowers always open nicely and are never splotchy. The colour changes depending on the weather, with the eyezone being somewhat variable. I have set pods on it, with viable seed. I will always have a place for this daylily in my garden.
I received this from Simonton Bridge in October 2023. It's in a sunny location on Middle Daylily Hill and is starting its garden life here with 3 fans.
