I posted before that there was something wrong with my amaryllis, it had a hole in the stalk. That one still hasn't bloomed but the buds are opening. All my amaryllis have the brown marks on the stalk which I was told was probably a virus. My other one now has 4 beautiful red blooms on it. Here's a pic of one flowering without growing up. It actually has 3 blooms opening. I'm going to have to try and find a source, other than HD, where I can buy some good bulbs. I'm in Canada and so far the only source I've found is Breck's. Anyone ever order from them? Marg
