I loved the color of Uncle Bryan, but got rid of it last year because of the splotchiness. It seemed that very few blooms were not affected by it. I also did not like that the form just always seemed to be slightly off. The sepals just didn't want to lay right.
It bloomed in late June, early July in my zone 6b garden and it did have nice sturdy scapes. Branching mostly seemed to be 2-way with 12-15 buds, but occasionally would get a nicely branched 4-way.
This was taken early morning, so the blooms haven't opened completely, but it shows a typical scape.
