I need some suggestions for flowering plants for our wetlands. We have planted impatients and they did well until the virus that hit about 4 years ago. The area gets some sun. The plants will definitely have wet feet! In some areas we have Elephant ears and Ginger growing and have had some Canna Lilly. Ferns grow around the outskirts. We have Cyprus trees, Florida magnolia, water oak and other miscellaneous trees. It's a beautiful area, but I would like some color! Oh and I forgot to mention. We tossed a dish garden out there a couple of years ago and it had some wander Jew in it. So now we have that growing everywhere too! The freeze got it, but it came back strong! Thanks! Barb

Thank You!

Swamp Hibiscus (aka Rose Mallow) comes to mind. Also Alligator Blue Flag.
