Wonderful old purple. Has been a fantastic parent for many hybridizers. In my zone 5 garden, it reaches its registered height and blooms for about a month. Blooms are blemish free. This is one of the first daylilies I acquired when I started to grow these addictive plants some 20 plus years ago.

I received Nordic Night from @stilldew in the fall. Wish I had more to report, but all I can say is that it settled in and now I'm waiting for spring.

I have had this for years. I moved it a couple of years ago from a semi shady spot. Surprisingly, it was doing better in the shade. Love the color of this, beautiful flowers that bloom for a long time. Or it did before I moved it. If it does not improve this year, I am moving it back to its old spot.

Nordic Night did improve so I did not need to move it. Lovely color, 15 to 20 but count. Don't remember ever having rebloom from it though.
