I repotted is little guy a couple months back and have been keeping it indoors. It sits on a table that gets sunlight 50% of the day and water it about 2x week. It's been getting dried out at the roots but the tips seem to still be growing and doing well, it was doing much better outdoors. If anyone has any advice on what I could be doing wrong or how to correctly trim it please let me know!

Welcome!

Its winter time and indoors - it would rather be outside. Its no longer getting enough light. You are probably overwatering. The combination of less light, more pot space and the same amount of water are adding up to a bad situation.

The solution is water less and find a sunnier window. Move it back outside if that's possible.

Thank you! Would you have any idea of its name? I'm newly collecting and learning!

Crassula tetragona? Or similar.

Yes, more light and less water. Indoor sun does not really "count" if there's not a direct line between your plant and the sun... reflected/diffused ambient light is not enough. If your plant can "see" the sun for hours a day, it will do much better. Usually that means a spot right next to your sunniest unobstructed window. Try watering half as often for starters unless it's very hot and dry inside.

I think you are correct Hamwild, it looks very similar to the Angelina.

Thanks for all the advice! Hopefully I will have a much happier plant!

Welcome to NGA @Tblz! If it is a sedum Angelina or other sedum, it is very cold hardy and should probably be outside. Since you are new here I am sending you some acorns so you can participate in the NARR-Not a Raffle Raffle. Here is the link: https://garden.org/ideas/view/... Good luck Taylor! Crossing Fingers!

Yes, I was going to mention that this plant is hardy in your zone. It could live outside permanently.
