What's this called? Very tiny moss of some sort?

It looks quite like a stone crop. Genus Sedum, not sure exactly which one but I am pretty sure it's one of those. Generally they are edible and big in vitamin c and minerals, but of course, never eat anything without a 100% positive ID on it and it's look alikes!

I agree ... it's considered a weed here in parts of Florida.

It's considered a weed in many places. It pops up everywhere particularly in places where it's hardy and doesn't have to rely on hitch hiking in other plants pots.
