Anyone here have a vacuum sealer? If so, I'm wondering if it is possible to vacuum seal baked goods; thinking specifically cinnamon rolls and loaves of bread. I'd like to seal them, then freeze, and then when thawed they would be really "just like fresh".

I do 😀 ! I do 😀 ! Anna !
The brand is, food saver.
It has a moist setting. On moist setting, the vacuum is lower.
It might be just right for you ?

I had one of the original sealers. I think it was a "Seal-a-Meal. I used it for everything including breads and rolls and they came out of the freezer just fine. We moved overseas and it got donated. It's one thing I've never replaced, but should.

A friend suggested that perhaps it might suck TOO MUCH air out and it would do weird things to breads, and when they were "unsealed" would not come back to the level that they were after baking. She said expelling as much air as I could out of a ziplock bag would probably do what I wanted. And that, for today, is something to think about..............for me, at least.

Thanks for the insight.
