I planted the trees in 2016 and they are loaded with lil baby peaches. Hurray! It's a miracle to me that they not only survived in this clay, but are actually bearing fruit. I can't get privet to grow in Georgia!!! Now THAT's bad!!

Anyway, being a newbie to growing peach trees, do I need to throw bird netting over the trees to prevent the birds from stripping the trees of peaches? I once had a cherry tree at a previous home in TN and never got a single cherry off of it, thanks to the birds. lol. Thanks for any advice.

I had more trouble with earwigs than birds with peaches. But I'm in a totally opposite area than you.
