#3 ? maybe a variety of Solidago? One for comparison; Rough Goldenrod (Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks')
#4 Purple Firespike (Odontonema callistachyum)

#6 Brazilian Plume (Justicia carnea)
#7 a variety of Jungle Geranium (Ixora coccinea)
#8 a spent Bromeliad bloom
#9 a variety of Orchid but I don't know which one

Number 4 looks like Mexican Fire Spike, commonly. I know it as Odontonema although i think the genus has changed.

I think Beverly is correct, #4 looks like possibly Purple Firespike (Odontonema callistachyum)

#3 D'Oh! is not Solidago, it looks so familiar but I can't think of what plant I'm thinking of. Sad Ligularia is one with spikes and small buds but I don't think that's it either. Is it possible to upload a photo of leaves?
